Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse is a fantasy film that was released in 2014. It is a sequel to the 2010 movie, Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. Rick Riordan, who writes books about the Percy Jackson series, with his wife is in charge of the writing of this film in collaboration with Chris Columbus. The cast in this movie includes Logan Lerman as Percy, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth Chase and Brandon T. Jackson as Grover Underwood. The director of this film is Thor Freudenthal, who is a TV and film producer, screenwriter and occasional actor. This movie was filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this movie, Percy Jackson, a demigod known for being the son of Poseidon must uncover the secrets to the mysterious disappearance of Zeus' Master Bolt and discovers his father's dark secrets. Percy goes on a journey with his friends to find this bolt and prevent a war between gods and mankind called the Titan War. However, he faces powerful demigods and new challenges along his way while trying to determine his destiny among them. In this film, Percy must fight the powerful Cyclops Polyphemus and his rival Luke Castellan who becomes a powerful Titan later on. In the last movie, Percy defeated the Titan Lord Kronos from trying to take over Mount Olympus with a battle at Camp Half-Blood with a help from an army of allies and his friends Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase. Annabeth, Percy's best friend, had a father that was a Greek god which is why she was being haunted by dreams that were sent by another powerful god named Luke Castellan. In the dream, Annabeth saw Luke as a traitor but before she could stop him, he disappeared which left her confused about what was going on. A few days later, Percy and his friends traveled to Camp Jupiter, which is a camp for Roman demigods and met with the head camper, Reyna who was the equivalent of Annabeth at Camp Half-Blood. They also reunited with Tyson, Percy's Cyclops half brother and carried on their mission to return Zeus' Master Bolt back to Zeus as well as free Thalia who was the daughter of Zeus from her tree form. Percy and his friends journeyed using information from Juno about the Master Bolt somewhere in California. They also met with Iris along the way and she accompanied them all the way to Epirus where they find Artemis and Annabeth's father, Frederick Chase that would lead them to Luke. Before they left, Percy and Annabeth had a talk and they realized that their feelings for each other were growing. They also switched switched backstabbing daggers and promised to reunite at Camp Half-Blood after they found the Master Bolt and free Thalia even though it might be the last time that they see each other. On their journey, Tyson had a revelation about his past about his mother who was a Cyclops queen named Keto and how he ended up at Camp Half-Blood with his brother, Percy. He also learned of his mother's legacy which was to create an army of Cyclopses with powerful weapons made by Hephaestus also known as the father of all blacksmiths including Cyclopses for Kronos. cfa1e77820
